Teen riders from Hong Kong cycle across Canada to raise funds and awareness for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada
On July 1st, 2012 (Canada Day), three teenagers from Hong Kong, Christopher Schrader, Zachary Nevin and Adrian Odio Cortes, all 19, will begin a 28-day cycling trip to raise awareness for multiple sclerosis, the most common neurological disease affecting young adults in Canada.
This event is supported by the Youth Endurance Network, a Hong Kong-based informal voluntary platform which inspires young people to contribute their abilities to good causes through endurance activities. The team will travel over 6000km through the mountains of British Columbia, the prairies of Alberta and Saskatewan, the Canadian Shield in Manitoba, around Lake Superior in Ontario, and finally through the Route Verte in Quebec and into New Brunswick.
